On the 29th of March The Send gathered 4,000 people for a day of worship, activation and action calling a new generation into the Great Commission. Yes! Children are welcome, but there is no childcare at the event, so they must stay with you throughout the day.
There won’t be scheduled breaks, but you’re free to step out for food, use the toilets, or take a breather whenever needed. If you leave the arena, you can come back in.
Yes, but all bags will be searched upon arrival. To make entry easier, please only bring essential bags to the Arena. We can not store bags or belongings brought to the Arena. Laptops and other large electronic devices are not permitted into the venue, please see our Prohibited Items list for a more extensive list.
Sorry, portable chairs are not allowed inside the arena.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase inside the arena and at the Braehead food court. If you leave to get food, you can re-enter, but all food must be consumed outside the arena.
Outside food and drinks are not allowed. However, you can bring an empty (non-glass) water bottle to refill at water stations inside the arena.
Doors open at 1pm, and we strongly encourage everyone to arrive on time. THE SEND is more than an event – it’s a movement – and the day is designed to take you on a journey! However, if you need to leave early, you are free to do so.
Yes! Braehead Arena offers free parking for up to 12 hours. We recommend parking in the blue car park.
Braehead Arena is well connected by public transport. We recommend checking local bus timetables in advance to plan your journey, especially your return journey.
